Joep van de Vlasakker, Wildlife Advisor to Rewilding Europe and the main organiser of the bison transportation. Transportation of European Bison, or Wisent, from the Avesta Visentpark, in Avesta, Sweden. The animals were then transported to the Armenis area in the Southern Carpathians, Romania. All arranged by Rewilding Europe and WWF Romania, with financial support from The Dutch Postcode Lottery, the Swedish Postcode Foundation and the Liberty Wildlife Fund.
