Wild Wonders of Europe Photo Competition 2010

Welcome back and a big hello to everybody who is new to these pages!
We are delighted to inform you that the 2nd round of the Wild Wonders of Europe Online Photo Competition 2010/11 starts in less than two weeks time on August 1, 2010!

Submit your best pictures of European nature online and win cool prizes worth more than 25.000 EURO.
Plus, the prestigious Grand Prize for the two overall winners: your own photo-mission to a very wild destination in Europe.

As in 2009 there will be two age groups:
Adults (18 or older) and the Young Crew (17 and younger).
We will have one category only this year: "European Wild Wonders".

Winners and runner-ups in both age-groups will be awarded product prizes of our fabulous partners for this year's competition:

Show your best shots to Europe and the World!
Neat prizes are on offer from our partners including camera kits, binoculars, software, fine-art prints, books and more. Plus, the Grand-Prize, your own Wild Wonders of Europe assignment.

The last day of each month is the deadline for each coming month’s competition.

Vote, everyone!
Every month the Wild Wonders team will select a set of images from your entries and place them online in a gallery for public voting. Enjoy some really cool shots and cast your vote – very easy, lots of fun!

And the winner is…
the image with the most voting points from the public voting – one in both the adults and the Young Crew age group.

Adults (18 and up) The Young Crew (17 and under)

One Category Only
“European Wild Wonders”
Images of nature in Europe - wildlife, plants, landscapes and details, man & nature, man’s impact on nature (positive &negative) .
Photographed in the wild, of non-captive wild beings and not digitally manipulated at all (check our rules, please!).

Very important: Do not include your name in the picture (i.e. in the frame or in the picture itself) or in the caption or title for the image. These images will not be eligible for the voting!
