A beautiful ranch house is now awaiting visitors and wildlife watchers in the Campanarios de Azaba reserve, Spain, where Retuerta & Garrano horses and Sayaguesa cattle had been released this summer. Further north, the current issue of “Bieszczadnik”, an outdoor, nature & lifestyle magazine from Poland features lots of images from Wild Wonders of Europe photographer Grzegorz Lesniewski and his photographic work in one of Poland’s prime wilderness areas.

Back from his Grand Prize Trip to Svalbard, Adult winner, José Luis Rodriguez from Spain says: “This was an experience of a lifetime!” and reports about his magnificent encounters with Polar bears and other wildlife in our WILDblog. The expedition was made possible thanks to the generous support by Polar Quest. We are working on setting up a new competition for 2013 with many more fabulous prizes – stay tuned!
BTW: Young crew winner Quentin Martinez couldn’t join because of appendicitis which sent him to hospital just days prior to his departure.
