Copenhagen Exhibition extended - Coming Products - Competition Winners

Wild Wonders in Copenhagen

New place, more days: after two successful months in the Danish capital the Outdoor Exhibition was moved to Kongens Nytorv in downtown Copenhagen last week! It will be on display for another three weeks until 31 August.
This prolongation was made possible thanks to a great effort taken by our partners and the city of Copenhagen. Don't miss it - the entry is free, day and night!

Wild Wonders of Europe

Here are a few comments from visitors:

"Amazing - I had no idea that the animals I am going to see on the other side of the world are also to be seen here in Europe. Fantastic and good motivation for the next holidays!!"
(Tine, DK)

"A must see photo exhibition. Makes you feel good and hopeful."
(N. Helmoe, DK)

Wild Wonders in China

Kudos to Bill FU and his team at The Bund and to Sheila D. Wang, who succeeded to set up three Wild Wonders Indoor Exhibitions in China so far!

In Beijing Chinese female actress, movie star and singer Fan Bingbing gave the opening true celebrity status. The event was followed by a reception and panel discussion about conservation needs in China organised by and hosted at the EC Delegation to China.

With thousands of visitors in just a week the third stop of the tour just ended in Guangzhou.

Exhibition no. 4 will open this Saturday, August 13, in Shenzhen.

Closing the tour in China, Staffan Widstrand will inaugurate the last exhibition in Chengdu, 28 August.

Please contact Sheila D. Wang, our China Tour Director for more details.

We are working to secure two major outdoor exhibitions in China. One in Shanghai and another in Beijing. If anyone is interested in joining this endeavour as partners, again please contact Sheila D. Wang in Beijing.

"I wanted to show the fox's movement up the branch. So I set an exposure time of 5 sec on my Canon 40D and used one flash to catch his silhouette. Then I triggered two more flashes with an old Canon 350D. They lit up the "final" image of the fox at the end of the branch", explains Csaba Gönye from Hungary about his winning image from our May competition.

Runner-up was Gérald Soligny from France with another stunning fox image, which can be seen in our online-gallery together with a selection of more cool shots! In the Young Crew age group it was Quentin Martinez once again, who won with a stunning macro portrait of predator and prey.
Close behind Jean de Falandre, also from France, with his image of a bugling red deer stag.
Our sincere congratulations to all photographers and hats off to their awarded images!

The competition is free of charge and we give out 4 prices worth more than 1.500 EURO each month! Sign up and show us your greatest shots from the wild side of Europe!

With best wishes from the Wild Wonders team
