A Decade Dedicated to Biodiversity

Marking the beginning of the >International Year of Forests<, January 2011 will also be the starting point for an >International Decade of Biodiversity<.
On top of that the UN Press Release from Dec 21 announces the implementation of an >Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES)<.

This body “will bridge the gulf between the wealth of scientific knowledge on the accelerating declines and degradation of the natural world, with knowledge on effective solutions and decisive government action required to reverse these damaging trends”.

Nordic VariationsWild Wonders Photographer/Videographer team Vincent Munier and Laurent Joffrion just released their very cool web-documentary about Vincent’s missions for Wild Wonders to Norway.

There is plenty of fabulous video, great photos and – a special treat for fans – a DVD collector’s box with fine-art prints and a special DVD about Vincent’s work.
