New Books!

No. 1: “Merveilleuse Nature” is the title of a new book for children from 8 years and older by Editions De La Martinière Jeunesse. Exclusively illustrated with images by Wild Wonders of Europe it has loads of cool fold-outs and great information on nature and animal species in Europe. In French - with more languages coming.

No. 2: The Swedish edition of our flagship book was just released by Max Ström, Stockholm. Look out for “Det Vilda Europa” in your local bookstores and read what others say about the book here!

The Dalmatian Pelicans featured on the cover of the Swedish Edition are listed as “vulnerable” by the IUCN. Their population suffered from a massive decline in the 19th and 20th century when large wetlands were drained and many birds were shot. It is now stable at some 4,000 – 5,000 breeding pairs.
Lake Prespa in Greece is home to the largest colony with almost 1,000 pairs.
