Did you know there are more than 300 National Parks in Europe?
Each year, May 24 celebrates their existence and the species and habitats within.
Altogether, 26.000 marine and terrestrial Natura 2000 sites protect an area of more than 20% of the EU member states. We think that’s awesome!
And the best about it: you can explore many of these fab places on your own!
National Parks are simply made for enjoying our beautiful landscape, plants and wildlife. Look at the images above. There are thousands of cool wild beings and exciting adventures waiting for you!
Check the site of Europarc for more info and plan your summer holidays in one of Europe’s fascinating National Parks!

We are on the search for great, inspirational one-liners to carry our message to the world! To inspire others to care for this incredible natural heritage, too.
Tell us how you feel about nature in Europe?
What does it mean to you?
What lights a flame inside your soul?
Why do you feel passionate about it?
The best quotes will be profiled in our book, on our website, facebook, blogs... maybe there will even be a competition for the very best ;)
Get scribbling. Let the words flow. We'd love to hear from you!
