Out there for Wild Wonders

Right now Erlend Haarberg is stalking ibex and chamoix in the Italian Alps. Ingo Arndt is following wild mouflon in Sardinia. And Magnus Elander is patiently waiting for Lammergeiers in a mountain hide in Torla, Spain. 31 missions have been completed so far and we look forward to almost 70 more in 2009!

Bridget Wijnberg is our new PR/Media director

Born in Zambia, raised in Australia and now a citizen of the UK, Bridget brings years of experience from nature travel, sales and PR to the project. She will be responsible for our PR and media work, especially on the Internet and with old and new media partners.

Upcoming events

  • Wild Wonders of Europe will be presenting an exhibition together with NIKON France with some of the shots from the first missions at Europe’s biggest nature photo festival in Montier en Dèr, France 20-23 November. Images by Vincent Munier, Mireille de la Lez, Florian Möllers and Staffan Widstrand. Including a presentation in the “Halle au Blé” on 22 November, 4.30pm.
  • Wild Wonders of Europe will be presented also at the Spanish Nature Photography Festival in Elche, Alicante 5-8 December, organised by AEFONA.
  • And again in Courchevel, France on 11 December, exhibition and slide presentation, organised by Terre Sauvage.
  • More Wild Wonders of Europe images can be seen at the Foto-Festival Nationalpark Wattenmeer in Husum, Germany from 18–20 September 2009.
