"It was the tremendous quality of the photography that really did appeal to people in a strong way.
The wild beauty of our continent took passers-by completely by surprise.
For too long nature conservationists have told the sad story of loss – loss of species, loss of forests, loss of areas where nature rules.
Wild Wonders of Europe, on the other hand, tells a story of love.
It is this positive message that wins the hearts of people."
Chris Kalden, General Director Staatsbosbeheer

On 1 June 2011 Danish Minister for Environment, Karen Ellemann inaugurated the Wild Wonders of Europe Outdoor Exhibition in Copenhagen where it remained on display from 1 June to 29 July 2011, at Nytorv square in the middle of the famous “Strøget” - the perpetually busy pedestrian street connecting the Town Hall Square and Kongens Nytorv. The exhibition was then moved to the elegant Kongens Nytorv where it will remain on display from 05 August to 27 September 2011.

Admission is free. You can enjoy the images 24/7 - they look extra cool at night...
